RustHub is a community hub for Rust clans — rosters, recruitment, wipe schedules, scrims and bounties. Your Discord account is your identity here, so the bot and the site agree on who you are.
This takes you to discord.com to approve the connection. Check that your address bar says exactly that before you approve anything — here or anywhere else.
What signing in gives us
Your user ID, display name and avatar
That is the whole list. We use the ID to match your website account to the same account the bot already sees in Discord, and the name and avatar so posts have a face on them.
Never your password
You type your password on Discord’s own site, if at all — it never touches RustHub, and we could not see it if we wanted to. Nobody from RustHub will ever ask you for it, in Discord or anywhere else.
No access to your messages or servers
RustHub cannot read your DMs, post as you, join or leave servers for you, or change anything about your Discord account. Sign-in is read-only and you can revoke it at any time from Discord’s Authorised Apps settings.
Signing in means you accept our terms and privacy policy, which spell out every piece of data we hold and how to have it deleted. Not ready? Most of RustHub — clans, recruitment and wipe schedules — is readable without an account.
